I saw Bill Kelley on friday. i thought he was pretty good. He didnt't share any written peice but he shared his input on what it takes to be a successful playwriter. I learned how important it is to make a firtst draft then work off of that to fine tune your points.

I saw Bill Kelly on Friday. I thought he was going to be pretty cool since he wrote Premonition, Enchanted and Blast from the past, but he didn't have anything really prepared for us. All we did was ask questions. Even though he was a little dull, I learned that most brilliant ideas and stories come from interesting events that happen around you. Bill Kelly said that's what started most of his screen plays.

We saw Bill Kelly. I thought it was very interesting to see the views of a successful writer. I thought it was very cool to hear the famous people he has worked with. I like how he explained the process of writing a story.

I saw Bill Kelly 8th period. He talked about some of the facts of screen writing, and he talked about how "you can do anything you set your mind to". i think that he should have maybe talked about the story of how he got to that point though, instead of just answering questions.

I was truly inspired by the whole event. More than my actual presentations, I enjoyed most being able to talk to students after the events. I wish I could've hung around longer, and especially would have loved to have presented on a day when students were also presenting. Mary Fons and Regie Gibson were phenomenal, but I'd love to hear the students' words.

Kick some ass this week, students!

I saw Bill Kelly on Friday, he was pretty god, except he didn't present any of his work, or explain how he got to where he is. He left the floor open to questions, which was good, but he should have split it half and half. Overall, it was a pretty fair performance.

I saw Bill Kelly on Friday and Billy Lombardo on Monday. I was very impressed with Billy Lombardo's poetic short stories. i've read his book Logic of a Rose. I'm in love with his style and find the words very addicting. its too bad that he only writes sad stories. at least we can relate to many of them.

Bill Kelly's presentation did not have any substance to it. He did not prepare anything to show us but instead had people ask him questions. We couldnt relate to his lifestyle or anything that he does. I hope they choose someone who can actually enrich our minds next time.

On Monday I saw Billy Lombardo and i remembered him form last year and i thought he was pretty good. When i saw him this year, his short stories seemed a lot more depressing and sad than before. He told the audience that since he doesn't have violence in his life he likes to watch violent movies. He does the same thing with his short stories. His life isn't depressing or sad, so he likes to write about sad and depressing things. I thought that was kind of interesting how he likes to have a little bit of everything: the happy and the sad and the peacefulness and the violence.
